On accident. Had one of the sensors work it'southward style out of the delete pipe. Fabricated an astonishing whistle sound. Louder than a big rig. Still information technology kept throwing a code and then I put information technology back in. So if you want some serious whistle just unbolt i of the sensors.

Only getting on the become pedal. Did not notice a lot of soot. Would still smoke like crazy coming out of the tail piping.

Probably not good for something. Im sure the computer would go haywire with the tuning of it with sensors unplugged and whatnot.

Sensor was non unplugged. It had over time worked its style out of the bung. Probably was non tight plenty when I put information technology back in originally. Drove information technology for a week this way and no codes were thrown. I put it back in. Was just sharing my experience.

Sorry OOWeaver68. It's belatedly and I am waiting for the BASS Archetype to come up on ESPN2 after the NASCAR racing. Information technology noticed the loud whistling on Monday. On Tuesday evening I looked under the hood and noticed a plumbing equipment had slipped on my air intake. And then I readjusted everything but the audio was still in that location. Was and then busy this week that I did non have a chance to look at it again until today. I got up early on this morning to head to the mountains for a mount cycle ride. Half way up to the mountains I noticed the engine low-cal was on so I ran a diagnostic check and it came dorsum with the lawmaking for exhaust gas temperature was to low or something like that. Can non remember the number but it was in the xx's when I left. Cleared the code but it kept coming dorsum. So when I got home and after information technology had cooled down I crawled underneath and noticed the sensor out. Put information technology back in and the whistle was gone.
Upwards until today no codes had been thrown. Sad for the confusion!

merely drill a hole adjacent to a sensor. The sensor would exist happy and you tin get a wistle. Just drill information technology on the lesser to permit moisture out and to shoot the soot downwards. You lot can start with a small-scale hole and increase size until the desired sound is achived.

Ok, Well so. Until you come up with an idea worth the time of day that may work for someone who may actually consider using information technology, I am non going to do anything like this, lets keep the critics where they belong, the peanut gallery.:mafia1:

Ok, Well then. Until you lot come upward with an thought worth the time of 24-hour interval that may work for someone who may actually consider using it,
Then you were being serious?
I find information technology hard to believe you were seriously telling someone to drill holes in their exhaust just for a little whistle. Why not just duct record a whistle in the tailpipe or scroll with bub rub and lil sister?:haha

No, I was joking, simply it seemed equally though it was taken seriously. I wouldnt drill a hole in my exhaust to make it whistle merely drilling a one/8"-3/xvi" gole on the bottom of the exhaust in a depression area does prolong the life of the exhaust. Information technology acts as a drain for the moistue which is a by-production of the combustion procedure.

So how practise you protect the outside of the exhaust from moisture? Face it, drilling a pigsty in the exhaust is useless no matter what yous try to do to justify it. Peradventure drill a hole in your dpf and then it doesnt make full with the water that is a byproduct of the combustion process?

Anytime you burn down a fuel like gas, diesel fuel, natural gas, or marsh gas past-products are Water and CO2.

Anytime yous burn a fuel like gas, diesel, natural gas, or methane past-products are H2o and CO2.
Im aware of that. With that being said, how exercise you protect the exterior of the exhaust from humidity and precipitation? What'south the difference if the h2o is on the inside or outside? It'south the same metal. I wouldnt worry about it
plenty to drill a freakin' hole in the exhaust LOL
Practice y'all remember that drilling a hole in it will speed up the process of water or whatsoever else rotting out the arrangement, starting at that particular hole?
Tin can yous make a turbo louder?
Y'all can make your turbo louder and more than aggressive by installing aftermarket parts. Simplest, you tin can opt for a turbo muffler delete, which replaces your stock turbo compressor outlet with a less restrictive version.
How much HP can you go out of a six.vii Powerstroke?
